In all likelihood, blogs like [Event Juice](http://eventjuice.co.uk/), [Event Planning Blueprint](http://eventplanningblueprint.com/blog/) and [Hello Endless](http://helloendless.com/blog/) already have pride of place on your bookmarks bar, but if not, they’re certainly well worth a few minutes of your time. Sometimes it’s nice to read a more personal perspective on a subject by following a single blogger who really knows their stuff. With that mind, here are 5 of our favourite event bloggers for you to follow… **Liz King** Liz King is the creator of the [Techsytalk](http://techsytalk.com/) blog, a fantastic resource with tonnes of quality content that includes everything from top event planning tips to technology news. Her writing style is tight and snappy and there’s plenty of multimedia resources, including podcasts and videos, to keep you engaged. We’re also big fans of the fantastic ‘Ask the Attendee’ feature. **Jeff Hurt** Jeff Hurt’s blog [Velvet Chainsaw](http://velvetchainsaw.com/) is undoubtedly the work of a man who is passionate about the events industry. The level of topics covered by Jeff on the blog is certainly high, with plenty of fresh insight on issues few other blogs in the events world are covering. For that reason alone, Jeff Hurt should definitely feature towards the top of your must-read list. **Dahlia El Gazzar and Tara Thomas** These two event planning veterans write authoritatively on event apps, social media, tech and plenty more besides, but they also curate content from other great sources as well as. So, if you’re looking for one site to provide your complete events industry fix, their blog [Meeting Pool](http://meetingpool.net/) is a great choice. It delivers everything a budding event organiser needs, and more. **William Gallus** The man behind Gallus Events, William Gallus, has a well-written blog that’s full of a diverse range of event-focused content. There’ everything from tips for going green to meeting design ideas, the latest event tech and more. From reading this blog, it’s clear Gallus has lived and breathed the events industry and has his own unique insights to share. Most importantly, the blog is 100 percent original, with regularly posted content and loads of juicy event titbits. **Caitlin Kobrak** [I’m a Damn Student, What Do I Know](https://www.eventmanagementstudent.com/) is an events blog for students and graduates that’s written largely by Ms Kobrak. The blogs are beautifully written and accompanied by some original photography, which adds a fresh feel to the blog. The beauty of this blog is the angle it takes, viewing the events industry from the eyes of students and recent graduates.
